Igor Lichnovsky is a Chilean professional soccer player who currently plays as a center-back for Cruz Azul in Liga MX. He was born on March 7, 1994, in Santiago, Chile.
Lichnovsky began his professional career with the Chilean club Universidad de Chile in 2012, where he quickly became a key player in the team's defense. He then had stints with European clubs such as FC Porto in Portugal and Real Valladolid in Spain before returning to Mexico to join Cruz Azul in 2019.
At the international level, Lichnovsky has represented Chile in various youth teams and made his senior debut in 2014. He has since been a part of the Chilean national team, competing in tournaments such as the Copa America.
